I found the latest book by Bruce Wilkinson, You Were Born for This, a great book detailing the many ways one can learn to discern the Holy Spirit’s prompting with the author giving numerous tools for acting on those promptings. While the various terms used in this book weren’t familiar to me, the concepts were. Over the years, we’ve had many opportunities to follow the Holy Spirit’s guidance to bring blessing to other’s lives all the while being mindful to bring the whole thing full circle giving glory to God for His faithfulness.

In addition to giving basic tools for hearing the Holy Spirit’s still small voice, the author also drives home the point that we were each divinely created both with our “unique strengths and glaring weaknesses” for a specific God-given purpose to be completely here on earth. All we need to do is be willing servants.

I highly recommend this book if you want to find out how seeing God’s hand move in extraordinary ways can become an almost eveyday occurence as you diligently follow after Him!
