This is NOT the type of text message you want to receive from one of your kids.

Amanda: “So, I got pulled over.”

Mom: “what, why, ticket?”

I had to wait an HOUR before hearing the answers to my questions. Imagine all of the thoughts running through my mind before she called to explain…..

So.. the rest of the story goes like this. She had four other people in the car with her when the deputy put on his lights to signal her over. None of them could figure out anything that she had done wrong. She got out her insurance and registration cards, rolled down her window, and waited for him to come to the door.

The deputy shined the light in the car and said, “Are you going to Thanksgiving Dinner?” That’s when she realized it was her uncle pulling her over!

Now Emily is praying he doesn’t do that to her sometime! That would really scare her!
