Soarin’…is my absolute FAVORITE ride of all time! I made everyone go twice on it this time and would have gone more, but the lines and fast passes were long waits. It’s a relaxing ride to me and we can all ride it now so it makes it more fun.

Troy and our friend’s cousin went to get Fast Passes for all of us to ride the Hang Glider ride. We kept waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and that’s NO exaggeration…. we waited a VERY LONG TIME. Neither of them answered their phone. Finally, we decided to go get in line at Test Track and hoped they would catch up to us. When they did we could tell by the smile on Troy’s face that they had probably ridden the Hang Gliding ride without us….. it was the only thing we could come up with that explained why they didn’t answer their phones and why they hadn’t come back as quickly as we had anticipated. Evidently, while they were in line getting OUR Fast Passes someone offered them their Fast Passes. So, they figured they’d quickly ride the ride and then meet up with us…. well… the FP line was a little longer than they expected and that’s what took so long. We didn’t exactly feel sorry for them.
The last time we were in DW, Josh was too little to ride Test Track. This time he was able to go with us and really enjoyed it…..except the part where it looks like your car is going to crash head on into a truck…..other than that part it was ok.
waiting in line….
I was into “enjoying the moment” this time so I really didn’t take that many pictures, however, I had PLENTY of pictures of each ride from the last time we were there so here are some from inside the Test Track ride….. one of the areas to look at while waiting in line.

the garage door which you’re unsure whether or not it’s going to open.
the little cars you ride in.
I don’t have any pictures from the hang glidering ride called SOARIN, but you can read about it here if you want…. there is a video clip to show what the ride is like. It’s a BRAND new ride and it was REALLY COOL! We LOVED it. Josh didn’t go on it with us, but I think he would have liked it. Here is info from the DW website: “Take a free-flying adventure across the natural wonders of the Golden State aboard this thrilling Disney’s California Adventureâ„¢ park attraction. With the wind in your hair, glide 40 feet in the air as you look down upon the breathtaking vistas of Yosemite and redwood forests. Soar as high as your imagination over a world of wonders. “
