Our storms usually come from the West. Lee was here one day when a storm looking just like this one came up. They ate and left quickly to head back to their hotel… right INTO the storm I might add! Back to now…. we watched this storm brew on the horizon for quite awhile.
As it got closer the clouds became darker and more scary looking!
LOTS of lightening in this storm!

Here it’s passing right over the top of our house… don’t ask me why we went outside to take pictures in the middle of this type of storm. I guess Emily couldn’t pass up photographing the clouds. They were certainly awesome looking.
Above, the storm has just passed by us and moved on to the east in the picture below.
You can see the rain is still falling at the edges of this storm to the north of us.
