SCUBA CERTIFICATION

It’s official. We’re all scuba certified! We received our cards in the mail the other day. Here are some pictures from our last two training dives. We were able to go on the last nice weekend of the year, I’m sure. We went on Sept 15th and the weekend before that was cold and stormy so we knew we were pushing our chances of having nice weather. The day was BEAUTIFUL. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer late fall day. Here are some random pictures from the day. You’ll see Emily, Tim, and I as well as my brother, Troy, and our friend, Mike. You’ll also see our instructor, Randy, and another diver from church who came to help, Jen. When the smilebox below loads, you may have to click Autoplay in the left hand corner to get each of the small circle pictures to rotate through to the center spot where it’ll be enlarged. Please let me know if you have any trouble loading this smilebox because I’m trying to decide if I should keep this service or not. I really like it and will probably use it for some scrapbook pages, but I’m not sure if I’ll keep it for blogging if it takes too long to load.

Robert was certified many years ago, but he’s never done it as long as I’ve known him. (That should read “many, many, many years ago,” lol.)

I didn’t load the smilebox. Although I’m on DSL, I have several blogs up at one time, and all the pics in general slow me down a little. I usually skip slideshows of any kind of blogs for the same reason. (I’m only mentioning that because you asked about loading smilebox.)

Most people who enter our church’s car show probably spend the day before polishing and clean up their entries.  Not us!  Nope.  We don’t have a fancy car.  In fact, our rig isn’t even entirely painted.  So, there was no need for polishing and prettying it up!  No, indeed.  Tim …

POLISHING THE JEEP

Our church has an annual car show on Father’s Day which Tim and Josh decided to enter this year.  While most people are out polishing and cleaning their entries, Tim and the kids were out muddying up our entry! They went across the road to our hayfield where it’s still …
