ROCK N ROLLER COASTER & TOWER OF TERROR

Vacations - 2007
4

We were all able to ride Tower of Terror several times. I didn’t really like the up/down motion of this ride because I kept feeling like I was going to fly out of the seat (LOL). It would have helped to have something to hang onto… other than whoever happened to be sitting next to me.!!

I never thought I would enjoy Rock N Roller Coaster! I decided to try it once and actually liked it. I was quite nervous about going upside down, but they all assured me that by the time you realize you were upside down you were no longer upside down. I can’t BELIEVE how fast this ride goes….. it just takes off and never slows down! Here we are as we were just taking off! The girls are in the back of this car with Mike and his mom in the front.
Melissa and I are in the front of this car with strangers behind us (LOL). I kept worrying that my purse was going to somehow fall out in all of the ups and downs of this ride, but I managed to get off with purse and camera still with me! This is Emily’s FAVORITE RIDE!
I took the boys to the MOTOR CARS parade while Tim did these rides with everyone and then he took the boys to a stunt show while I rode the rides with everyone. There was a man in the video showing while we waited for our turn that sure looked like Dorothy’s husband! I suppose all of the rock band stars looked about the same from that time period, huh?

We all (except Nathan) rode Test Track and I bought this picture! I’m glad I bought a few of these this time. Last time I didn’t and wished later that I would have.

Ok… this is the last of the Disney World blog entries… next I’ll move on to the cruise portion! Some day I’ll get back to blogging “real life” things!

Tower of Terror was the favorite for both me and Morgan. She rode it at least 7 times, I think I rode it maybe 5. Everyone else’s favorite was Rockin’ Roller Coaster. Morgan was 1/4″ too short to ride it and she was QUITE outdone about that. I thought it was okay, but still preferred ToT. It’s my all-time favorite amusement park ride.

Ginger,

I might have liked it if I were in the middle because it seems like there were little hand rails inbetween each person, but on the end there wasn’t anything to hold onto on the outside edge (LOL). I was READY for it to drop becuase I figured that’s what the ride was about… but then I wasn’t ready when it get going up and down and up and down (LOL)… For some reason I thought maybe it was just one drop and you were done.. boy was I wrong!

How did you get those pictures of you on the ride? Very cool. Tower of Terror sounds a little intimidating to me.

What was your favorite ride? Does everyone in the family have a different favorite? What a fun vacation. I’m so glad I got to ‘travel’ along with you. 🙂

Kathy,
DW has cameras set up at strategic spots to capture such looks on faces. At the end of the ride there are screens where you can go look at your picture, write down the #, and either order a print right on the spot or order online after you get home.

Tower of Terror was a bit intimidating…. maybe I’ll have the kids journal a little more info about their favorite things… why they were their favorites, etc.

LUGGAGE – DAY 62 of PROJECT 365

WHEW! This is definitely the last of our vacation pictures! The night before you arrive back in port, you leave all of your luggage out in the hallway. During the night the porters come through and deliver it *here* (LOL) and you have to dig through the piles of luggage …
