The guys have been doing some work for a rancher out north who has a bunch of nice moss rock on his property.

We had just the right equipment out there to haul a few loads home each night after work. If you look closely at the top right of the rocks in the above photo. you’ll see Josh and Tim *BARELY* poking their heads up above the rock. That’s what they do whenever I get the camera out.

PhotobucketThey used the forklift to unload the rock out back.Photobucket

This rock is fairly fragile so you don’t just dump it in a big pile. You gently place them in a nice orderly fashion!

We’re not really in the landscape or rock collecting business, but Tim has plans for a ginormous waterfall which is going to take some BIG ROCKS! Looks like we have enought to get started on that project now.

The waterfall sounds pretty! Will it be on your property?

I ventured into your lovely state last week. We came up from Cody, WY through Billings and then back down toward Sheridan, WY. I thought of you while I was in Montana!! 🙂

So cool, not only would we love to have the giant rocks like that, but you can imagine that my dh would love to play with the big toys to be able to move the rocks around, lol! Fun post, Cindy!

Making tracks toward home!  The county road from the pit and hayfield entrance to our house is still covered in mud clumps even a couple days after we were out muddying up our rig for the Father’s Day car show yesterday.
