I wasn’t able to catch the names of every single little place we stopped to get something to eat. I’m the only one who’s usually very interested in taking pictures of every little detail and I was also the one in charge of all the money. Money vs taking a picture. Usually handling the money was more important. I did manage to take a quick picture of the girls looking over all their choices and a picture of the all important VISA sign (LOL)! I looked for it everywhere we went because I didn’t want to use up the small amount of euro we had on us. It’s much easier to track expenses later when you have a credit card paper trail.
I don’t have a picture of the outside of this cute little bakery where we found breakfast our first morning in Paris. I can tell you it was somewhat close to the Republique station. We stopped at the first one we found which was open “early.” We left our hotel about 7:30 to get an early start since we wanted to be in line for the Eiffel Tower well ahead of their opening time. Anyway. I was surprised at the number of places which weren’t open yet. I was also surprised how run down the store fronts look. They really don’t look all that inviting until you step inside.
Here are some pictures of everyone chosing what they’d like. There were SO MANY yummy things to try. It’s a really good thing we’ll be doing a LOT of walking because I’m sure they’re all loaded with calories!
