MAKING A LIST & CHECKING IT TWICE

Vacations - 2009

Photobucket
Tuesday and Wednesday (Sept 22nd and 23rd) were spent doing all of the last minutes things we needed to do before we leave. Needless to say it was a whirlwind.

Here are a few things on my list:

*change Amanda’s phone plan so it can be used in Europe

*go to Em’s vb game on Tues night and the last practice on Wed a.m.

*buy some guidebooks which Michaela and Emily are looking at above and I’ll review them later.

*write out the instructions for Josh’s school work

*pay some bills

*pack (I tend to worry my family when I don’t pack until the day of the trip… I thought maybe I’d pack before now, but I’m guessing it’ll be the morning of which is my norm regardless of whether I’m leaving for a day a week or a few weeks and regardless of whether I’m going in the state or out of the country)

*show Josh where to plant a few things I haven’t gotten to yet.

*finish Michaela’s shopping for a few things she wants to take back home with her.

*finish writing a few blog entries which will make it easier to post along the way by just adding a few pictures here and there.

Well. I guess that’s all for now. Obviously, the list is much longer….

A.M. VISIT TO EIFFEL TOWER

I’m sure everyone would have preferred to sleep in a little longer today (9/26), but again, trying to avoid jet lag I scheduled us to be up and out of the hotel by 7:00 a.m. I actually wanted to leave at 6:30 but Michaela thought that was way too early …
