LITTLE MERMAID

Emily, Josh, and I were involved in another Missoula Children’s Theater play this spring. This was the 10th play that we’ve participated in! It’s hard to believe we’ve been in that many already. This spring’s performance was The Little Mermaid which was a VERY CUTE play. As always the costumes were wonderful, the play was adorable, etc. When we do the fall play, I will spend some more time detailing what goes into putting one together, but for now, here are just a few pictures from our spring play.

Here are a few pictures I took during the rehersals. Emily is practicing one of the dance parts where they have to carry fish attached to these poles.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at PhotobucketI’m not sure what Josh’s group is doing, but he’s SMILING…. noticeably happy, excited, and enthused so I’m posting the pic… just for Kathy (LOL).

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at PhotobucketI LOVE this picture. I wish I would have gotten a full length photo of this dragon. Emily poked her head out from under it just in time for me to snap a picture. Talk about great timing (LOL). Her team was under the dragon which was being fed a mint. As the mint passed through the dragon’s body each person had to HOP to show where the mint was. It was SO FUNNY!

Here are some more friendly Sea Scouts! It’s really a lot of fun to do these plays when so many of your friends are also in them.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at PhotobucketI always have to preface pictures of Josh with a comment about his smile. He REALLY IS HAPPY in this picture. He’s trying to hold back a big old smile so he doesn’t look *too* excited to be doing the play. This is *not* a look of disgust…. it’s a trying to not be TOO happy, but really I am look which never comes out right.. but hey.. it’s the only photo I have so I’m posting it.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at PhotobucketIf you ever get a chance to participate in an MCT play GO FOR IT! If you want to look into bringing them to your town, visit the link above. The experience is WELL worth the time, effort, and money.

Great pictures!! You had me laughing with the smiley shot of Josh (just for me!!). I totally get him now so I didn’t think twice about his serious look. 🙂

Yep.. that one was just for you! I don’t feel like I have to explain him anymore, but I still think of you every time I have a FULL SMILE/LAUGHING picture of him!
