Lisa from The Berry Patch had this award up for grabs on her blog awhile ago so I decided to grab it to post here.
To accept this award you need to list six things you are thankful for & then list six bloggers to pass this along to…. I’ve had to deviate from the rules just a bit and I’ve listed 7 thankful things and 7 bloggers whose creativity I enjoy!I’m thankful for:
1. Family & Friends
2. Instant communication – texting, email, cell phones, etc.
3. A wonderful homeschool community filled with a plethora of academic, sports, music, and other opportunities. I’m particularly thankful for homeschooling today because we didn’t have the stress of dealing with a bomb threat which the kids and parents in the public school had to deal with today.
4. Our Church and specifically the worship pastors for giving us the opportunity to offer up to the Lord the gifts/talents He has given us through serving on the worship team.
5. Our family business which allows the kids an opportunity to work closely with their daddy and grandpa. 6. Free time – I don’t have much of it, but I’ve been trying to take a few minutes to blog each day so I can share our memories and happenings with those who want to stay in touch via the blog; scrapbooking & photography which, for me, go hand in hand and are the only two things which I take time to enjoy in the form of a hobby these days; and, when I can spare 2 hours of free time I enjoy going for a massage or haircut/color every other month or so. 7. Four seasons – Even though I don’t like winter all that much, I do like spring and fall. I am thankful that we live in an area of the country where we get to experience the coming of each season.
And, I’d like to pass this award along to the following Kreativ Bloggers:1. Debbie from Following the Narrow Path I love seeing all of the cross stitch squares Debbie creates for a stitching club she belongs to as well as all of the things she does in her yard – gardening, landscaping, pool repairs, etc! And, all of that while homeschooling her 5 children adopted from different countries.2. Heather from Joyful Wandering – I really enjoy reading all of her posts especially the ones about her creative menus. And, more recently the spreadsheets she has been using for her menus. I REALLY like how creative those are and I hope to figure out how to make some for myself one day soon! Love the new ideas to try out!3. Jen from Bits & Pieces – She shares a TON of very creative things on a wide array of topics – scrapbooking, knitting/crocheting, and other crafts! You’re sure to find something to suit your interest on her blog!4. Stephanie from Our Adventures in Learning – She has been posting some challenges for creating something everyday and she has some really cute projects going on at her house. I also like how creative she is at becoming more green, eating more healthy, etc. She’s an inspiration.5. Ginger from Just Horsin’ Around – They built a house last year and I thoroughly enjoyed watching the entire process. I loved the creativity of it all – the colors, the flooring, fixtures, etc. And, she also has a stamping/scrapbooking club each month. I love seeing the page she creates each month for the club class.6. Kathy from The Duckabush Blog – I love the creative writing style of Kathy & Tim. They have such a way with words weaving scripture into everyday examples of life homeschooling and raising their children. Kathy is another fellow SHSers that I’ve had the great fun of meeting in person a couple of times now!7. Debbie from By His Grace – I really enjoy all of the quotes and art projects that she shares on her blog! They also go on some very fun field trips which I enjoy reading about.
