JUMP

Tim spotted a yucca plant and suggested that Josh use it for a jump since they forgot to bring a shovel to make some of their own. Here he goes:

notice the twisting motion to try and head for the yucca plant jump…
he’s quite aways away from it… it doesn’t look that big in the picture, but it did send him into the air a ways.
looks like he’s going to miss it entirely.
OOPS…. he fell off before he even got to the jump.
then he tumbled down the hill aways.

rolled over backwards a few times…

turned to look and see how far he came…

sat there a minute

and then decided to get up and try it again…

TAKE TWO OR TEN… I lost count:

notice the angling for position again…
SCORE! This time he hit it straight on and flew through the air aways.
you can sort of see how far he was behind the plant when he landed.
YEP! He liked that one as you can see from the OH YEA hands in the air.
He had a TON of fun going over that little yucca plant jump!

Dorothy.
Yes, they have GREAT determination. And, I LOVE the continuous shooting mode option on my new camera! It IS a bit like watching a movie.
