IT’s SNOWING AGAIN!

I’m starting to wonder if winter might really be here to stay for awhile. It snowed off and on last week and you already read about our SNOW DAY tradition in previous blogs so I won’t repeat that again. However, we really CAN do our full traditional SNOW DAY activities tomorrow since everone will be home including Worker Bee if this keeps up all night. Right before heading to bed I decided I should go out and at least shake the snow off from our new little tree. I should have had the kids take a picture before I started shaking it. The poor thing was leaning over almost touching the ground. The snow was SO COLD on my feet! It’s time to dig out the winter shoes so I don’t have to run out in the snow in sandals (LOL). I’ll post more snow pics in the a.m. Busy Bee 3 was all excited that he might get to go sledding tomorrow, but I guess we can’t since they are hoping to get one more cutting of hay from the field before we start driving on it >VBG>!

Wow, I wonder how much you got, I’ll check back another time. We’ve not had snow yet but I suppose it’s only a matter of time!

lol The snow looks like it’s there to stay! Wow! I can’t believe that it’s almost winter already. We’ve been having cool fronts for a couple of weeks now and it’s so strange since I’m used to warm weather all year long, except the 2 weeks we usually get of cool weather. The weather men told us to get out the jackets for next week. I just can’t get over it.lol Enjoy your snow!

It’s hard to believe you all have snow and we are sitting here in our house with the air conditioning cranked 🙂
I think I see our fall coming next week – they are saying it will be a high of 72 – I’ll believe it when I feel it 🙂
Stay warm!

SUPER MOON

The Super Moon was shining so bright throughout the night last night. This morning the western sky was a beautiful rainbow of colors as the moon was disappearing over the horizon.

LET IT SNOW

Being in the road building business, one thing we don’t have to worry about is being snowed in. As long as the weather isn’t so cold that we can’t start the equipment, you’ll find our men out and about plowing everyone’s driveways up and down our road and a few …

EARLY MORNING VIEW

I love that the days are getting longer!   There was a beautiful view of the moon early this morning which reminded me of this song by Steven Curtis Chapman.   …”Early in the morning our song shall rise to thee…   Holy. Holy, holy…”
