HAIRCUTS – DAY 123 of P365

Now it’s the boy’s turn to cut the “grass” hair on their little sock people they made in our co-op Botany class. Aren’t they CUTE? These little guys are made out of socks which are filled with dirt and grass seed. We soaked them with water and now we keep them in a glass full of water. Their hair is really going NUTS! The boys cut it every few weeks.

We’ve had a LOT of fun with botony and we’re looking forward to zoology next year. Now if I could only find my book! I loaned it to someone and don’t remember who and unfortunately whoever I loaned it to also doesn’t remember because no one has returned it yet! I was hoping to get a jump start this summer… I may have to buy another one.
