so….did you have a kit?Did you have instructions from somewhere? I’m still planning this.LOL At least our hands would’t be cold here. LOL

GIRLS WILL BE GIRLS:
The girls like to read in front of the bay window each morning while the sun is shining in. It’s very warm and cozy!
Then they decided they wanted to tie-dye. First Emily rubber banded all of the shirts and socks………
….while Amanda is getting the dye ready.

Then they took everything outside to do the dying.
Emily accidentally put a dyed shirt in the water bucket so she had to go in and get another bucket of WARM water!
It may have LOOKED warm outside, but they quickly found out that 30 is NOT warm enough to be tie-dying outside with your hands in cold water. After they finished the tie-dying they put each item in a separate grocery bag.
Amanda’s hands were so cold, she couldn’t feel them.
The girls came in and warmed their hands up in a lukewarm sink of water. Most of the dye came off from their hands.
After 24 hours they brought the sacks inside and started to untie everything.
Then they wrung everything out in the bathtub…..
……..followed by stamping out the excess water.
Here are the finished products. They even did a pair of Nathan’s underwear!
