FAT LIP

This is what happens when one falls down on the ice while carrying the baby!  In the split second where I was falling, I somehow managed to get my arms up around his head to completely protect him from any injury.  My lip, knee, and elbow hit hard though and left me bruised for about a week!!  That’s ok though!  I’m not worried about me.  I’m just very thankful I still have fairly good balance and was able to keep him from hitting the ground and keep myself propped up so I didn’t land on him!
It was a BAD weekend for falls.  There was a solid sheet of ice everywhere from rain, then freeze, warm again, rain, freeze, on again, off again.  It was like this for days causing the snow to be a hard crusted frozen mess!  I’m not the only one who fell that weekend!  Emily fell while getting into her car and Tim’s mom fell at her house!
I hesitated to post this picture, but here goes.  At least no one can say now that I only post the “good” pictures and happenings…..

So sorry!! That looks painful. Nice selfie. Ha. Glad the baby was okay. Whew. All the ice and slippery sidewalks and roads makes me nervous in the winter. I can see why people like to head to points south come winter time.

BUCKET ORGANIZER

This metal bucket with dividers is one of my most favorite office organizing tools!!  In fact, I would venture say it’s one of a dozen things I would consider “office essentials.”  It has six areas for keeping a variety of office essentials neatly organized! This is what I keep in …
