My Aunt Dolores came for a visit so she could meet her great, great nephew Charlie in person. It was a whirlwind few days filled with basketball, shopping for things she can’t buy in Germany, lunch at a unique restaurant which is located in a building that used to be her neighborhood grocery store, breakfast at a local family favorite restaurant because she always likes to have pancakes once when she’s here, and LOTS and LOTS of Charlie-filled-fun time!
It didn’t take him long to warm up to her! She played with him, read him stories, and brought him several little things to put on his shelf to remember her and to “inspire him to travel.”
