Vacations - 2007

Have I mentioned that Nathan is Grandpa’s boy? Neither of them seem terribly disturbed to be sitting and waiting for the rest of us to ride the rides.

Nathan and his Mickey Ears. He’s the only one of the kids who bought souveniers at DW. He bought these ears, a Buzz Lightyear light up light, a CARS backpack that is SO CUTE.. I’ll have to show it in one of the preschool blogs posts, and a MATER remote control car.

Josh is very interested in maps these days. He gathered a map at each park and helped map out our plan.

Nathan loves just hanging out!
Grandpa doesn’t like to ride the rides so fortunately he didn’t mind sitting with Nathan. After such a LONG day of flying the day before, Nathan was pretty tired. He is SUCH a happy little guy. When he’s tired he doesn’t usually throw a fit or anything, he just falls asleep… sometimes while eating which I’ll show when I get around to loading pictures from the cruise. Here Grandpa and Nathan are waiting while we ride Splash Mountain. Grandma even likes Splash Mountain so she rode it with us…pictures of that later.

Here are the other friends that with us, Mike’s parents.

We all took turns tending to Nathan… Josh’s turn to push him around in the stroller… now that I recall this part I remember thinking Nathan didn’t NEED to ride any of the DW rides with the types of rides Josh was giving him in the stroller (LOL).
We parked at Magic Kingdom, took the bus over to Animal Kingdom and back so we wouldn’t have to hassle with parking 2x. Here we’re riding the bus.

getting our first look at Animal Kingdom.. the first park we visited. Nathan wasn’t too sure what to expect.

I’m not sure what these guys are all laughing at, but it must have been something funny.

Grandpa packed this suitcase all over DW for Grandma… raincoats, water bottles, etc., When we went on the Hang Gliding ride in Epcot the attendant asked my mom if she had packed for an overnight trip. He wanted to make sure she knew it was ONLY a ride (LOL). He seemed to enjoy giving her a bad time about bringing a suitcase…
The girls are having a great time! They were old enough to not have to be right beside us all of the time this year. However, Emily still likes to hang on her sister and show her how much she loves her! Amanda, otoh, needs just a little bit more space as you can see in these pictures!

I enjoy seeing all of your family (and extended) family photos. Cindy, what a blessing to have such a wonderful family vacation!

LUGGAGE – DAY 62 of PROJECT 365

WHEW! This is definitely the last of our vacation pictures! The night before you arrive back in port, you leave all of your luggage out in the hallway. During the night the porters come through and deliver it *here* (LOL) and you have to dig through the piles of luggage …
