CHACOS – DAY 23 of PROJECT 365

Kids - Amanda

On the SHS internet loop I belong to there’s been a discussion about weather. I happened to mention that if it’s above freezing here we wear our sandals. Here’s Amanda getting ready to go out somewhere in her CHACOS and I don’t think it was even 32 degrees. I’m pretty sure it was only about 10 degrees outside when I took this picture the other day. She does, however, take every winter precaution by keeping a pair of “sensible winter shoes” in her car as well as some socks, a coat, mittens, hand warmers, etc. We just don’t all take time to wear socks and coats in the winter (LOL). That is so funny. I am here in the south and have warm fuzzy socks, slippers or my tennis shoes on . .. and she is running around in flip flops!!! Too funny!!
