This is a fairly typical dinner for me.  A serving of meat which in this case was grilled hamburger.  Sometimes a slice of cheese, but not always.  At least two veggies and sometimes three!  No ketchup.  No bun.  No yummy homemade hamburger relish.  Just a little bit of spicy mustard …

With snow and cold having arrived today (11-18), it’s a good thing we had a truck load of wood delivered a few weeks ago!  Notice the grass which remained green clear through the arrival of snow!

The dog is getting along a little bit better with the cats now as compared to when we first brought him home back in February.  At that time, the cats would all be scared up a tree whenever Toby was out of his kennel.  Now they aren’t quite as afraid …

We’ve been to Costco and we’re stocked up for the week.

We are so thankful to have a nice warm fire to cozy up to in the living room.

Since we haven’t used our wood splitter in a good ten years, Tim had to split this pile the old fashioned way.  He split enough wood today to last us through the next winter weather event which seems to be headed our way early this week.

Tim and a friend of ours went up in the mountains to cut a few loads of wood.  They picked a good day!  It was mid 40’s today up from the well below freezing weather we’ve had the last few weeks.
