THE BOYS AND GRANDPA WORK ON THEIR HOBBY!
TRAINS:
Every spare minute the boys are asking to go to grandpa’s house to work on their train hobby. Josh is in charge of working on the Christmas table. Here is the start. It looks like he has a long way to go. I’ll keep you posted.

Grandpa lets Josh do a lot of things, but he stands nearby supervising and directing.

Here grandma supervises Nathan! He has his own little track and cars that he’s allowed to play with and he seems to know which is which and is content to play with his stuff.

Here are some shots of all the track layouts, hills, engines and trains waiting to be worked on, etc.

GRANDMA AND GRANDPA in their train room!

Oh my DH would be sooooo jealous if he saw these photos! He loves trains, but just don’t have any room at all to set any of them up. So he’s making up for it by buying DS bunches of Thomas the Tank Engine stuff. LOL!

We don’t have any room either which is why it’s a good thing it’s GRANDPA’s hobby! The boys LOVE trains.. they read train magazines, catalogs, books, and watch train shows.

WOW now that’s a train set…room…paradise! That’s quite something and looks so fun for the boys, young and older!

The boys are ALWAYS asking to go to grandpa’s house and play with the trains. Josh likes to go without Nathan though otherwise he doesn’t get much “work” done. Grandpa is letting Josh build one section that will be the Christmas section and he hopes to have it done by Christma… we’ll see.

SEQUENCE

Nathan, Tim, and I played a lively game of Sequence this evening.  I should have won the first round, but SOMEONE had to open up their mouth and let on to someone else my strategy which was to win 2 sequences with one last chip!  That play fell through and …

LITTLE BITES OF HAPPINESS

Nathan’s friend, Noah, came over to hang out today and enjoy one last day of Christmas break before school resumes for both of them tomorrow. On the way home from picking him up at “the bridge,” I asked if the boys wanted some oatmeal for breakfast, but no. They wanted …
