Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket This picture was taken earlier this school year, but I’m still going to post it as part of the Project 365 photolog because he was SO EXCITED to finally “officially” finish his phonics curriculum. He’s really been done for quite awhile (almost a year), but I wouldn’t let him discard the book until he had finished the tests and it took me awhile to get around to giving him the tests. Those of you that know me very well know that our books look “barely used.” I don’t think I EVER let the girls rip one of their books up, but I’m softening in my old age and decided Josh could rip his apart! You can see he’s quite pleased about that (LOL)! I think he was more excited that he was able to RIP A BOOK than he was over finishing the tests.

(It might seem that I’m writing these comments quickly, but I’ve already read through the blog and opened up comments for the posts in a different window, and now I’m going back to comment!)

I usually offer my kids the option of ripping. Holly is hesitant to tear up her hard work so quickly, but Trevor loves to tear them to bits. 🙂
