Iforgot my ear phones on Thursday so today I had to get them out and make sure they were all ready for church. Emily took that opportunity to photograph me trying them on. I had to put new ends on and I wanted to make sure they fit right before …
My ear phones sitting on the keyboard waiting for me. Sometimes I put them in before we go on the stage and other times I leave them on the keyboard and put them in after we get out there. These are SHURE E something or others… 2 or 3, but …
YIKES. I can’t even believe I get up at this time of the morning. Three mornings a week I have to get up around 4:00 a.m. to get Em to volleyball. I don’t mind getting up this early when I can lounge around the house and work on the computer. …
On the SHS internet loop I belong to there’s been a discussion about weather. I happened to mention that if it’s above freezing here we wear our sandals. Here’s Amanda getting ready to go out somewhere in her CHACOS and I don’t think it was even 32 degrees. I’m pretty …

Ican’t remember what this “thing” is called, but I do remember that Tim said it’s an antique “thing” used to soak wooden wheels. They would fill it with some sort of liquid, set the wagon wheel in it, and let it soak until it was done. It came from Tim’s …
This picture is nothing fancy, for sure. This is the door that the musicians use when entering and exiting the stage. It was pretty straight forward until they added the black curtains before Christmas. That wasn’t so bad until they dropped the white part which was previously suspended… see previous …
Here is a picture of the buttons for the computer part of the keyboard I play at church. The green part is the screen that shows all of the settings. I’ll describe that more in another post about worship team practice later in the week.
