THE ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PICTURE

This title should actually read “The Christmas Picture That Didn’t Happen”.

First. I thought I would use a picture from our vacation last year, but I think they were all too blurry.

Then. I asked our friend who took Amanda’s graduation pictures if he could take one for us, but I think I asked too late in the year because we didn’t make it onto their schedule.

So. As a last resort I decided I would try to take a picture. This is what I got: Phony smiles from Nathan and squished looking kids (LOL).

Then. We asked Skyler to take our picture one night when he and Amanda were out visiting, but the lighting wasn’t very good so the pictures ended up too dark, not to mention the funny faces from Nathan again….

So. No Christmas picture meant no Christmas cards were mailed out this year. If you usually get a card and picture from us now you know that you’ve not been axed from the list (LOL)! And, I wasn’t too busy to send out a Christmas mailing either. It’s didn’t happen because I didn’t have a picture. Hopefully we’ll have a decent picture to mail out next year!

Thanks for sharing your photo tries. I still think they are very nice! 🙂 Don’t you just love all the silly expressions can get when you just say “smile nice!” 😉

I DID have to wait for a photo – which meant I had to wait for the girls to come home – now I need to work on it – I’m thinking maybe march. LOL

Most people who enter our church’s car show probably spend the day before polishing and clean up their entries.  Not us!  Nope.  We don’t have a fancy car.  In fact, our rig isn’t even entirely painted.  So, there was no need for polishing and prettying it up!  No, indeed.  Tim …

CHRISTMAS IN JANUARY

The kids were SO excited to see a package come in the mail this week from our foreign exchange student, Michaela, who lives in Germany!  She sent something for everyone and they had fun digging through the box to see what was theirs. She included a chocolate spoon for everyone …
