Our meeting place was at the Tree of Life so I decided to upload some pictures of it I took the last time we were in Animal Kingdom. As I said before, I really didn’t take a bunch of pictures this time because I already took so many pictures the last time. So.. below are pictures from Animal Kingdom 2004

Here are the kiddos with Mickey and Minnie in 2004. I LOVED how each Mickey was in a different costume depending on where you find him in the park. I was quite disappointed that Nathan didn’t see Mickey Mouse one single time this year, 2007. We were told it’s because of security issues, but I sure wish they could find some way to protect Mickey so that he could be out and about the park. In 2004, we saw characters everywhere we turned. This time I really had to HUNT for the character spots and NEITHER of the two we found had Mickey… well.. I take that back there was one character spot where we did find Mickey, but it was in MGM and it was the sorcerer Mickey which didn’t thrill me and scared Nathan so we didn’t wait in line to get his picture taken with him. So… my big disappointment is you really can’t find Mickey at Disney World anymore so don’t tell your 3 yo that you’re going to see “Mickey” because you may not see him…. better to pick something else as the thing for a little one to get excited about seeing. Here are the kids with Mickey and Minnie in 2004. I would sure have loved to get a similar picture this year with the kids all grown up now.
