Nathan didn’t want to venture down under the house! He stayed a good distance away from the hole and pointed to where Josh and Tim had disappeared. His job was to holler at me and tell me anything the guys under the house needed! It’s a very important job!

Here’s Josh headed down under.

I don’t really know what they did down there, but I’m sure it saved us hundreds of dollars since they were able to fix it themselves! It’s so nice to have a dh who can knows how to fix everything!

… and a son (make that two…. standing at the top to give instructions is also important – lol) in training!

Josh wanted to take a picture under there so I handed him the camera. This is what he found (LOL)! Hmmm… I have no idea how that could have gotten under there!

Back in the main part of the house again. They are cutting and glueing, pushing and pulling, etc. We still don’t have any running water in our bathroom, but I’m told we COULD have water if we were to put the sink in there now. It was my suggestion to not bother putting the sink in there until after the flooring is finished since we’d just have to take it out again only to reinstall it again. I would like it all done soon, but I’m not into having Tim and the boys having to do something 2x. We can use the kitchen sink awhile longer.

They are getting close enough to the finishing point that I’m starting to look at flooring. I already have the paint. The tub refinishing person is supposed to come sometime in August. I think we just might get this project done sometime in the next …………. wouldn’t want to venture a guess, but I’m guessing sometime in the foreseeable future!

You are very lucky to have a hubby that knows how to do all that kind of stuff . . .what a blessing that is . . .Carlos and I are very “unhandy” 🙂 We have to hire out for everything!

The Easter Egg under the house is hysterical — better than finding bones!

Our progress is soooooo slooooowww that I’ve just tried to block the whole thing out of my mind at this point. Though my progress on the front porch is about as slow so I guess I shouldn’t complain.

Looks good so far, I like the swirly sink.

Our bathroom remodel is more along the lines of Liz’s. in fact I’m pretty sure we’re still/back to the thinking about what to do stage.

FLOORING

Charlie wants his ears covered when the guys are using the air gun!  It IS loud! New Year’s break is the perfect time to tackle a home improvement project!   This year’s project was to install our left over hardwood floor at Amanda and Trevan’s house!    Charlie was quite …

STUDIO REDO

This room is such a mess I simply can’t deal with it any longer!  It’s not normally this disorganized, but a few months ago everything was removed from this room while I was away so I could be surprised with the flooring being finished!   YEA!  I’m SO EXCITED the …

SILVERWARE

This year I’m participating in the Declutter 365 project.  They started in the kitchen and since my kitchen is fairly new, I don’t have a whole lot of actual “decluttering” to do, but I do have a few organizational things I haven’t gotten to so I’m working on those for …
