The sunrise was exceptionally beautiful this morning. I loved how bright and vibrant the colors were. Again, there must be a lot of debris in the air. The custom cutters are thick as mosquitoes here right now – cutting all of the grain which make the air very heavy with dust. The other night on our bike ride one could hardly breath the air was so thick. It does make for beautiful sunsets and sunrises though!
Beautiful, Cynthia! We do not have a good view to the east as there are a lot of trees, so we don’t get good sunrises. This is just lovely.
So pretty! The boys arrived home safely this afternoon. You should have seen their faces as they described how beautiful your part of the world is! They were definitely awed! ~Yvonne
What were you doing up at sunrise, Cynthia? Volleyball’s over, right? Are you working that early in the day? I do NOT usually see the sunrise (um, ever) as I am not an early riser. 🙂
Pretty pictures.
Beautiful, beautiful sunrise!!
Debbie, Our view to the east isn’t as good as it normally is because we now have a field of corn directly to the east, but I was able to get these pics from out our front door. I really liked how pink the colors were yesterday morning.
Yvonne, I’m so glad they enjoyed their trip out west. I sure wish you could have come with them! Perhaps you should look into moving out this way?
Kathy, I was working! I try to get all of my “work” done early in the morning and late at night so it doesn’t interrupt too much family time.
Robin, Thanks! I thought it was especially beautiful yesterday.
Good for you to catch this!
Those are gorgeous — was it just that way? No photoshopping?
I never can figure out how to tweak the colors with photoshop anyway.
Love all the pink in there! I’ve tried using my “sunset” mode on my camera. It’s supposed to add more orange tones, but I much prefer to just use the “regular” setting.
Liz, No photoshopping here. That photo was taken without any specail techniques of any sort.
Kristine, I think my camera has a mode for sunsets, but I’ve never tried it. I use the same 2 or 3 settings for all of my pictures.
The Super Moon was shining so bright throughout the night last night. This morning the western sky was a beautiful rainbow of colors as the moon was disappearing over the horizon.
Being in the road building business, one thing we don’t have to worry about is being snowed in. As long as the weather isn’t so cold that we can’t start the equipment, you’ll find our men out and about plowing everyone’s driveways up and down our road and a few …
I love that the days are getting longer! There was a beautiful view of the moon early this morning which reminded me of this song by Steven Curtis Chapman. …”Early in the morning our song shall rise to thee… Holy. Holy, holy…”
