TACO SEASONING

TACO SEASONING

1 T. chili powder
1/4 t. garlic powder
1/4 t. onion powder
1/4 t. red pepper flakes
1/4 t. oregano
1/2 t. paprika
1-1/2 t. cumin
1 t. salt
1 t. pepper

Here is a note from Kristine:I found the recipe to be flexible; I used garlic salt instead of garlic powder, omitted the paprika entirely (couldn’t find mine!), used dried onion instead of onion powder, and cut the salt by more than half.THANKS, KRISTINE! This is a keeper, for sure! I haven’t even tried it yet, but I know we’ll like it by the list of ingredients and because it doesn’t have any preservatives, dyes, anticaking powder or added starch for “filler.” (LOL).

I have made my own seasoning in the past and need to get back to doing this. Those big containers of Tones at Sam’s are just so darn convenient!

LOL, we made this again tonight. I asked dh if he liked it and his response was, “YES! What kind is it?” Hah, it’s the only kind we’ll ever have again!
