HELPING GRANDMA

Kids - Josh

After Grandma and Grandpa took our bedroom set (post with pictures still to come), Josh had to go down and drill some holes in the back of a few drawers for the cords to go through.

There. Now all of Grandma’s electronic things will fit in the drawer instead of having to sit on top of the night stand.

She had other work for Nathan to do. This is our FOUR YEAR OLD for those who don’t already know that.

Do you see him up there on that ladder? Do you realize that he’s PAINTING? That’s REAL PAINT on the roller. Did I mention that he’s only FOUR?

Look at that cute little face. He takes his work SERIOUSLY!

This picture cracks me up! WHO paints in a carpeted area without a drop cloth? And, then I want to know who lets a FOUR YEAR OLD paint without a drop cloth? My mom reports that he did just fine and that he didn’t spill any paint! Hmmmm… maybe I should have taken some lessons from him or let him paint our dining room (LOL)! I didn’t know he was such a great painter until I snagged these pictures from my mom’s camera.

Looks like he might have missed a few spots. Notice that Grandpa is leaning against the ladder probably giving Nathan a few encouraging words to keep on going. Thanks to Nathan this is one less project for Grandpa to do! And, above, Josh did another project which Grandpa won’t have to do now (LOL).

I’ll post some completed pictures of their bedroom where “our” bedroom set now resides in a little while.

Cynthia, what a cute little guy Nathan is. He looks so serious and intent on his work.

Josh is a wonderfully capable young man for his age. What a help to everyone he is.

That was my thought too–it’s one thing to let a 4 yo paint, but ANYONE painting without a drop cloth????!!!

What a blessing the boys are to their grandparents!

SKYVIEW GAME

Tonight’s game against Skyview was quite intense right up until the very last second!  Each team was back and forth all night taking the lead and slipping behind by a few.  The last minute continued in this same way.  In the last 8 seconds we were behind by 1 point …
