To answer a few questions.
1. I don’t normally schedule so much into a week. We’re always BUSY BUSY BUSY, but normally I wouldn’t allow so many things with “deadlines” to happen all at once.
2. To have 2 doctor appointments in the same week is almost unheard of… Jodi, it may very well be the end of me as well (LOL)! Seriously though. Here’s the problem. The orthodontist that did my braces (and Amanda’s) is clear on the other end of town from anything we do in town anymore. When we had our braces done years ago it worked fine because it was near Amanda’s flute teacher and close to the band/choir that we used to go to every Wed. Anyway. The other problem is they are only open 3 days a week and don’t take appts later in the day so the ONLY time I can ever find to go there is early in the a.m. before co-op… definitely a pan because it’s 30 minutes PAST where I need to go for co-op… so it already takes me 30 minutes to get to co-op then I have to drive 30 minutes past there to get to my ortho appt and 30 minutes back to co-op and this all has to happen so I’m back to co-op by 8:30… ugh…. we’ll be leaving at 6:45 just to make all that happen. At least I don’t have to go often. Once every 6 months or so is all now since it’s just retainer checks. We have now switched to having our orthodontic work done at the office where Amanda works which is GREAT! It’s right on the way to co-op!
3. Now.. the other problem with Monday is if I leave the house at 6:45 to get to my orthodontist in time and back to co-op, etc…. I’m fairly certain I won’t be in any kind of shape to stay in town for the women’s thing that starts at 6:30 that night. There isn’t even time to drive home since choir won’t get over until 4:30. I could be home for 1 hour, but I’m certain I would take a nap and not wake up in time to go to the women’s thing. I’m REALLY TORN about what to do. I would *NEVER* have scheduled an ortho appt early in the a.m. on the same day that there is a women’s thing I want to go to at night.. it just happened that way and it’s so hard to get into the orthodontist I didn’t want to reschedule that and of course I knew about it months before the women’s thing came out on the schedule.
4. Tuesday night has a similar problem….. school, extra work that I don’t normally need to do in a certain week/month (quarterly reports, etc) plus a prayer meeting at our church….
5. The REAL problem with all of the above is that I was working ahead to allow room in my schedule to be able to attend both of these things. I REALLY WANT to go to both of our church things on Mon night and Tues night. Our church has worked very hard to consolidate things this year and I want to support the efforts of everyone planning these two things. I’m sure they’ll be awesome. I wish they weren’t both in the same week because then I wouldn’t have to chose one over the other. I know many of the ladies organizing the women’s event and they put so much time, energy, and creativity into these things. UGH… what to do…… Realistically I’m thinking I won’t be able to do either one of these things, but we’ll see how much I get done today before noon (LOL).. it’s already 9:00… woke up with a splitting headache (hmmm… I wonder why.. maybe I shouldn’t have listed out everything I have to do and then I could have gone on blissfully unaware that I really couldn’t get it all done – lol)!
I should post about a “normal” busy week sometime so you don’t think EVERY week is like this around here because it’s not. Some weeks we do *NOTHING*… one week recently we didn’t even go to town for a single thing from after co-op until church on Sunday morning. That’s why it’s so weird that this week coming week has gotten so out of hand.

I’m just going to be praying for you as you attempt to get it all done this week… Just take deep breaths….do the first thing first…..then do the next thing…and if you don’t get it all done…the important things will be done. LOL
Praying.
Ditto to what De’Etta just said!!!
(I’m glad you have continued to keep your comment spots like this instead of changing to the little box!)
WOW, what a week. I now know exactly what you warned me about with having to drive to get anywhere. Even going to the nearby town (pop. 4,000) takes a minimum of two hours out of my day, between driving and whatever stops we make (and it’s rare we just make one stop, once we’re there).
Wow, you really did FLY through WalMart fast and spend $$$! LOL, you must not have been counting the time you stood in line, because that probably would have been at least another 15 mins!
Oh No it WAS the end of you, you haven’t posted this week!
Frustrating when there are good and worthwhile things that just won’t fit in.
Ok, you’re making me feel better – I’ve been thinking of joining a co-op that’s a good half-hour away. I want to, but it just seems SO FAR AWAY! But if you can do it …
