In this picture, I was again trying to practice with the natural light coming in the window. I was trying to capture some of the water dripping from his hair, but you can’t really see it. I’m not sure I like how the light coming from behind lights up his ear, but then maybe it’s ok because that’s the way it was?

I do like how his face fills the picture. I tried a different angle and I like how he’s looking up slightly at me and I love that I was able to catch a GREAT smile without his normal goofy grin (LOL).

Feedback?

Thanks Karen! I like both this one and the serious one, but obviously this smiling one is more Nathan than the serious one. Somehow I think you can see a little of his goofiness by his body posture with his right arm up/back in the air without it actually affecting his SMILE (LOL).

Yes, I like the angle a lot too, with the light behind him. I wouldn’t think twice about his ear, that’s just how ears are!

I’d play with highlighting, probably choosing to bring out a lot more of the lighting on the side and front of his face.

I know what you mean about goofy faces, lol!

COON “HUNTIN”

DUCK PREP

I’m not sure what’s going on with these duck feathers on my dining room table, but the placemat has been moved over to make room for them! And the Egg Nog has been pushed aside to make room for marinating the duck meat!!    I’m not much for animals, dead …
