The first 2 pages go together to make a 2 page spread in our photo album. Really the pictures say it all (LOL), but I will journal somewhere that Josh is holding a rock that he found shaped like the letter J. He thought it was really interesting to find a rock shaped like his initial. It’s the top left picture on the second page below.

These next 2 pages go together. You’ll see a pattern that I’m starting to enjoy with smilebox and that is to couple a page with all pictures with one that is a little more busy or includes a big journal box. This is working WELL for me since I like to have LOTS of pictures and journaling with some bling now and then. My eyes would get tired if all the pages were busy and my pocket book would suffer if I did all pages with only 2-3 pictures per page (LOL).

Again, the next 2 pages go together.

The journaling for the above page basically says that THIS IS THE LIFE! Tater laying on the beach enjoying the sun and sand while sharing a diet coke with grandpa.
I’m not sure what I’ll put next to this page… something but this is where I left off the other day. The journaling talks about the HORRIBLE sunburn that Josh got on the very first day. We weren’t there very long and unfortunately we had forgotten the sunscreen back at the condo. He suffered for most of the cruise. At one point he was itching so bad we almost had to cancel one of our excursions. We gave him some Benadryl, applied some cream, and he was able to calm himself enough to go on the excursion. Poor guy! I bet he’ll help us remember sunscreen the next time.
