I know just how you feel about correcting their pronunciation, Cynthia. I just can’t bring myself to do this with Carys. She is my LAST baby. She’ll be talking perfectly correctly before I can blink!

KID QUOTE:
Are we gonna put uz upground in today? – Nathan
He always says “uz” instead of “us”. One of these days I’ll have to start correcting a few of his incorrect pronunciations, but for now it’s so CUTE to hear how he says some of his words. Here he’s helping set out all of the pipes for the railing.
Tim & Josh read the directions and told the rest of us what to do.
Emily patiently waiting for her next assignment. It was REALLY HOT outside the day we put it up.
Josh worked on putting the ladder together.
The kids got inside to help straighten out the wrinkles before we started filling it with water and until there was an inch or so of water all around.
The well water was FREEZING so they didn’t want to stay in very long after it started to fill up.
We couldn’t find a solar blanket to help heat the water and we sure didn’t want to spend the extra $$ for a heater if we really are going to end up installing an inground so they waited a few days and then it was warm enough for swimming! Initially Nathan was pretty cautious and knew he wasn’t supposed to get anywhere near the ladder without his life jacket on. Now he has had taken off and is swimming just great, but I’ll save that story for another post.
It’s been 90-100 for the last few weeks so the pool has gotten a lot of use!
