This is more of a behind the scenes update, but I’ll go ahead and post about it incase it’s helpful to any of you.
My blog skin uses the old blogger template. Because of that, when you scroll down to the end of a page you’ll notice there isn’t an option to click “previous.” This is a PROBLEM when I’m trying to search for a recipe that I know I posted because it’ll only go back so far. The more recipes I add the more older ones I can no longer access.
I figured out a work around for this problem last year when I was doing my book lists and decided that I would do the same for my recipes. That is I have now made ONE blog entry where I will list all of my recipes in alphabetical order. Each one will be a link to where the recipe is posted on my blog. Now, I can always access my recipes and so can everyone else (LOL).
Now when you click on recipes in the sidebar instead of going to the most recent 12 or so that I’ve posted, it will take you to one entry that lists all of the recipes and from there you can click on which one you want to find. It’s actually quite a bit more convenient, I think, instead of having to scroll through a bunch of them.
To keep it up-to-date will only take an extra couple of minutes to go back to the main recipe post and add the link to it – just like I do with my book lists for those who have seen that main entry in the past.
So.. below you’ll see the main recipe index! Several of you have asked me for recipes that I know are on the blog. Now, they’ll be easy for all to find!
Next time I have a few minutes to work on my blog I think I’ll do the same thing with my vacation posts. Or, maybe I’ll search around the blogosphere to see how to convert my blog skin over to the new blogger format. At least this will work for the time being.

Thanks for making your recipes easy to find!
I hadn’t even realized that your blog didn’t have the blogger search box at the top. LOL
I have been getting questions about an easier way to find recipes on my blog too and have considred but not started a recipe page…now I just tell them to use the search box at the top. LOL
