One day a week or two ago, I did a Christmas photo shoot with Tater. Two years ago we tried having some professional pictures taken and it just didn’t go well. So, I’m not going that route this year. I’m hoping that some of these pictures will turn out nice enough to put in our “portrait” album. I hope that years down the road I don’t regret forcing our way to the mall for the annual Christmas photo….

Here we go…. ok Tater… your head is tilted too far to the left. Tilt it to the right a little.
That’s better, but you still need to tilt it the other way a little more and give me a real smile.
Oops. Too far the other way. Now go back a little.
Head position is just right, but you have a phoney smile.
Ok. PERFECT! Thank you. Now let’s try some other things.

First. He had to do a few goofy things (LOL). I didn’t take time to edit these pictures for the blog, but I did for printing and they turned out really nice and they weren’t too dark when I printed them.Then.. he decided to be shy about having his picture taken.

Then… I told him I was done when I really wasn’t. That way I could capture some candid shots.. this one of him intently watching something on T.V.
Then I asked him for some more posed shots, but he said he was too tired….

Then he struck up a deal with me and I had to pay him .25 for the hour of photo taking (LOL)…. and he thinks *he* got a great deal (LOL). Then… all of a sudden he was DONE… as in I’m out of here done.
and that was the end of that (LOL).

I ended up getting 8 really nice pictures for my December Daily album. I do plan to post pictures of all the pages when I actually finish the book. I hope to work on it some more after Christmas.
