GETTING READY

It’s been a good many years since I’ve had a “helper” while I’m getting ready in the morning, or in this case the afternoon as you can see from the sun shining in above Charlie’s head from this window which faces the west!
Charlie had so much fun playing with this mirror!  It has a magnified side and a regular side which he enjoyed flipping back and forth!  Don’t worry about the cord in his hand.  I unplugged it right away since this little fellow just wasn’t content to leave it alone.  
It was so cute to hear him babbling on to his reflection, laughing when I blew a stream of hot air at him from the blow dryer, and acted all serious when I dabbed some of my face cream on his nose, etc.  He adds so much fun to our routine on the days we have him at the house.

Anyone who knows me, knows I’m a firm believer in giving kids meaningful “work” to do :). Charlie is “working” in this photo.   Fourth-generation construction business owner coming right up 🙂
