When we booked our airline tickets, my brother didn’t think he was going to go with us. A few days later he decided to come along, but by then he couldn’t get tickets on the same flight as us so he flew United while we flew Delta. He’s traveled with us before. Perhaps there are reasons why he waited a day or two to book his flight (LOL). There are a lot of us and we have a lot of luggage (LOL)! We’re probably not the easiest group to travel with…. At any rate, we’re glad he was able to join us for vacation again this winter.

Here are a couple of pictures of Uncle Troy with Tater. Above they are trying to figure out how to occupy some time while the rest of us were shopping at the coffee plantation. I’ll post another entry with the game they came up with to play. Uncle Troy bought the boys each a smoothie at the coffee plantation and that helped to pass quite a bit of time!

I think they are practicing their shark faces in this picture (LOL)! I’ve gotten quite a few days behind in my blog posting while here on vacation…. the last few days we’ve had so many activities to enjoy that I’ve had no time for blogging (LOL)! Here it is the last day of my brother’s time here before I even got around to posting that he’s here. We just took him to the airport a few hours ago.

Uncle Troy is a treasure…..beach yoga AND shark faces…truly a modern renaissance man. I’m glad he was able to travel with you.

Loved the photo of Tater and his snake. Which reminds me that I need to look into the snake forecast for Misawa. ::snort:: Surely better than W TX.

FUNNY about him waiting a day…just to be sure, haha. 🙂 Truly, how nice to have your extended family really enjoy spending vacations together, so much that you continue to do it. 🙂

MUSEE RODIN

One of the many things on my Paris “hope to see” list was the Musee Rodin.  Because we had a mile-long list of things to see today and because I was the only one with this on their must-see list, we opted to make this a very quick stop (as in probably only …

BIKING THROUGH PARIS

If I don’t already sound like a broken record when I say I researched all of the xyz options for abc before we booked our trip (or chose this crockpot or picked that curriculum, etc), just stick around awhile and I’m sure you’ll eventually come to that conclusion (LOL) since …

A.M. VISIT TO EIFFEL TOWER

I’m sure everyone would have preferred to sleep in a little longer today (9/26), but again, trying to avoid jet lag I scheduled us to be up and out of the hotel by 7:00 a.m. I actually wanted to leave at 6:30 but Michaela thought that was way too early …
