OMGoodness! I hope they are able to discover why she’s sick and that she’ll recover quickly.
EM – UNDER THE WEATHER

Our poor sweet Em has been under the weather for a couple of weeks now.
Last Friday, I took her to see our friend who is a Dr. and at that time she didn’t have strep throat or an ear infection or anything. He gave her a few things to treat her symptoms, but said to come back if she didn’t get better.
She felt well over the weekend and on Monday, but then Tuesday she was wiped out and spent all day in bed. Wed she was well enough to do a few things in the afternoon and evening, but then TH she was on the couch all day.
I had been in touch with our Dr. friend via email the last few days and this morning he called to have her come back in for some lab work. We’re still waiting to hear the results of the tests which will determine the course of treatment.
Poor thing. She nearly passed out during the blood draw. The nurse and I were visiting when all of a sudden Emily’s head started to tilt, her eyes went funny, and she said she didn’t feel well. The nurse had her recline in the chair while she went to get her some juice. She (Emily not the nurse – lol) broke out into a cold sweat, started hyperventilating, etc., After a 1/2 hour or so she was feeling well enough to head home. It was so cold and snowy and I was parked a ways away so I went to bring the car up while the nurse walked Em down to the door.
How you see her in the picture above is pretty much how she has remained the rest of the day.
