I like your new lights! I've thought about getting some, but I didn't know if they lasted very long or were very bright. But your lights look lovely.
SOLAR LIGHTS

One of our summer projects was to replace all of our outdoor solar lights. Em helped a LOT with this project. It has taken a few days here and there to get to all of the flower beds, but we’re almost done now. I hope to finish all of the areas we currently have landscaped because I want to estimate how many more we might need for future landscape projects so I can purchase them now.
These are the lights we used to have. I liked them, but they were a nuisance. Every time the wind would blow very hard they would fall off from the hook. It wasn’t that big of a deal to go around and put them back on, but now that we have kittens they like to play near the lights and they seemed to come off from their hooks more often now (LOL).

We’ve replaced all of them with the ones below. I’m gathering up all of the pieces and parts to our old lights (above) to give to Amanda so they can light their sidewalk. These lights shouldn’t be a problem for them in town with lots of buildings to break the wind gusts. Out here there’s nothing breaking the wind that comes howling through occasionally. So, we needed something that didn’t dangle.
I know this picture is dark, but I wanted to show you what the front of the house looks like now with all of the solar lights installed.
Emily and I tried to set them just far enough apart that the light cast from one would reach to the edge of the next so the entire sidewalk would be lit for people to see their way out to the parking area.
I LOVE the light formation these leave on the ground!
