These signs always make us laugh (LOL)…… people are ALWAYS standing under them…..
You do realize this means no standing cars, not people….meaning a parked car with a driver in the seat
After finishing up on Liberty Island, we walked around the downtown area including Wall Street. The girls and I think Tim really got the short end of the deal on this trip not getting to experience Wall Street on a weekday. It was really quiet on Saturday when we were there. We walked past the Bull on Wall Street and many other buildings and such which I didn’t even take a picture of (aren’t you proud of me?) since I have pictures of those things from our previous two trips. Unfortunately, that also means this post will be a bit on the short side (LOL).

We stopped at the McDonald’s a block off from Wall Street, but we weren’t as impressed this time around. There weren’t any “reserved” signs on the tables which we found so FUNNY the first time we were there. I guess there’s no need to reserve a table at McD’s on the weekend? Maybe they only need to do that during the busy weekdays? Well. Enough with the questions. Here’s a pic of the two story McD’s.
At least they did have a live person playing the grand piano when we arrived. That was nice. It still seems odd though to have live music at a McD’s. I couldn’t get a very good pic, but I guess you can tell it’s a grand piano. I have better pictures of it and the “reserved” signs at home from our first trip. Oh, and on our first trip I also took pictures of the servers who wear black suits with white aprons and napkins draped over their arms. And, the ketchup, mustard, salt, etc., are all placed in silver serving trays. Definitely not your normal McDonalds from our neck of the woods….
Rachel, if you’re reading this what happened to the Ronald McDonald clown which used to sit outside? I was looking forward to taking a picture of the boys beside it since they are now the ages of the girls when I first took them to NYC and took a picture of them beside the clown.
