DRILLING
This week Josh worked on a scooter that one of his friends gave him. It needed a hole drilled and a new bolt put attached. I caught these pictures of him out in the garage helping his dad this morning and I’m hoping he wasn’t using this big drill the other day to work on his scooter! I suppose it’s best I don’t know what he does out in the garage (LOL)!

Josh has come in to give me the rundown on how this works. Here are the instructions from a 9 yo’s perspective. First you turn it on with the switch above his head in the picture below. Then you reach your hand way up to the 3 different handles and then you turn them by holding on to one of them. Keep doing that until you are done drilling. So, here is a picture of it at the top.

Here is a picture as he’s lowering the handle and drilling the hole deeper.
And here he’s raising it up again so daddy can take the metal out. This morning they were building some sort of hitch for our friend to pull a trailer behind his jeep.
