We didn’t spend much time on this week because we were still finishing up things from our 3 week colonial study. We did read this one book outloud though. Josh took a real interest in guns of the time period and decided to do some research on flint lock guns for one of his presentations.

Nathan and his friend were pretending to hunt wild animals after co-op one day (LOL). This has NOTHING to do with the French and Indians War, but this is the week they were “hunting” so I’ll put it here (LOL).

We had a guest speaker come in and talk to the kids about hunting and trapping. He brought several furs with him and talked about the history of trapping. He also set some traps and the kids were all startled when one of them went off.
