A couple of my kids love beets, we don’t seem to have much sucess growing them here though.
Just what sort of speed limits do you have in your area then VBG.

Iam not certain why I didn’t post this a few weeks ago, but I just found it in my draft list.. guess I better post it now before spring rolls around (LOL).
The field next to us has beets this year. The boys LOVE to watch them work outside our library window. A lot of times Josh will go out and ride with them. This year I sent him out with the camera to take some pictures for the blog.
First they go through with the defoliator.
Then the digger…
I see he didn’t get a picture of them dumping into the trucks that haul from the field to the beet dump, but that’s what would happen after the digger…. but you see the mess they make of the roads.
From the beet dump they go into the refinery.
Trucks haul to the refinery from all over. Here’s one going by on the interstate by our house.
We see so many beet trucks while traveling to/from town. YEARS ago when Josh was Nathan’s age we came up with the Beet Truck game. Each of the beet trucks has a # on the side.
We try to guess the # of the truck. If you’re right you get that # of points! Here are some pictures from inside our vehicle while playing the game (LOL).
NO. I don’t normally drive with my eyes closed (LOL).. 
Emily likes to play with her gum….. you have to look close to see it all stretched out.
Josh thought it would be fun to take pictures of the speedometer while I was driving. I RARELY go over the speed limit so I’m not sure where the fun was in this, but ok.
If Nathan isn’t sound asleep….
then he’s usually singing at the top of his lungs until I can’t stand it any more and insist that he stop talking or singing for a few minutes. He LOVES to play the Beet Truck game and now his big thing is to count in Spanish so he’ll call out #’s in Spanish.
