December 1st recap

5:00 – up earlier today since there is SO MUCH to do… I already know there won’t be time to get it all done, but I’ll sure give it my best shot.

*exercise… go over pre-trip terms for taking my bus test today…. brakes parts, wheel parts, frame parts, everything under the hood just incase I end up with the “long” test, etc.

*QT & personal reading

*school…. I won’t take the time to list what all that entails until I have a bit more time, but suffice it to say we do all of the normal things every day – math, l/a, history, science, music, and more. Some day I’ll just upload my spreadsheet instead of trying to type it all out here.

*6:45 – leave for bus test and it’s a whopping 0 degrees… the bus has a little “miss” in it when it’s this cold.. lovely weather for a taking a driving test… see pictures from the bus blog.

*pass bus test and return bus by roughly 10:00.

*take a few minutes to go shopping since Tim can’t work in this weather and we are arely in town together with no kids.

*we both have phone calls left and right

*the girls are at home getting their school work done and watching the boys.

*help them with their school work when I get back home

*no time for a nap today

*we get home too late for me to take Em to her b-day party so Amanda heads to town to drop her off

*Amanda comes right back and goes to help Tim and Troy setup for Christmas Stroll tonight

*I pick out songs and mark the book – see Christmas Stroll blog –

*gather stamp, Christmas CDs, etc to take to the stroll.. THANK GOODNESS I’m somewhat organized or I would not have been able to find these things on short notice.

*I show up at stroll after it has already started.

*play off and on throughout the 2 hours

*leave in time to pick up Emily after her party

*get home and read to the kid, straighten up the house.

*after the go to bed I return some emails, work on more bills, start to get some things ready for co-op on Monday.

*many things left undone today and it’ll be a busy weekend since we play this weekend. Some things will have to be left undone and some things will have to not happen. I start to mark off the things that can be deleted from the schedule this weekend and next week.

DINNER

This is a fairly typical dinner for me.  A serving of meat which in this case was grilled hamburger.  Sometimes a slice of cheese, but not always.  At least two veggies and sometimes three!  No ketchup.  No bun.  No yummy homemade hamburger relish.  Just a little bit of spicy mustard …
