5:00 – another early a.m….. looks like most of Dec will start like this… .looking forward to a slower pace one of these days
*exercise, QT, reading, shower, breakfast, etc before leaving at 8:00 for co-op
*send last minute emails for people who need to set up for co-op before I get there. We can’t use the gym today which will change things a bit
*Nathan didn’t wake up early enough to eat so he has cereal in the car on the way to town with VERY LITTLE milk so he won’t spill
*Josh and Tim load the YUKON while Em and I make sure everything is together
*Em makes lunch, gets Nathan and herself ready, answers several phone calls before 7:30
*Amanda sleeps in a bit and gets up just before we leave
*arrive at co-op to find out that we can’t use ANY tables today… ok… that means several big changes so I check with all of the TOG leaders
*general co-op panic over getting back into the routine (LOL)… we would like to take another week off this month, but we decide to stick with the plan and press on through Dec.
*Amanda stopped and tried to get my attention.. she needed a check… next time she should stand behind the person I’m talking to so I can see that she’s there waiting for me… poor thing.
*decide I would like to try to come back to town for the Women’s Ministry Christmas party tonight so I change our plans and decide to NOT go do the shopping we needed to do today after co-op and I’ll go back to town another day to do that
*realize I’m TOO TIRED to drive back to town without a nap so I take a “quick” nap when I get home asking Em to wake me up in 1/2 an hour.
*wake up 2 hours later to see that she didn’t wake me up and now I won’t be able to go back to town for the party.. probably just as well since the house is such a mess.
*make gingerbread dough with the kids
*finish our game of Phase 10 and start a game of Sequence (we’re playing a different game each week)
*read to the kids
*get them off to bed and then stay up until dawn thirty getting the house in order, lessons ready for the week, laundry caught up, etc

Well, you probably needed the nap! Just glad it wasn’t while you were driving!
Cynthia, I am so impressed with the fact that you make time for exercising!
Dorothy
I did need the nap and I was SO TIRED I knew that it wouldn’t be safe to drive back to town without a nap.
I try to exercise first thing in the a.m. before the kids get up so I can read something *I* want to read. If I wait until after they are up then I listen to one of the kids read, give a spelling test, drill math facts, read the history or science outloud, etc. And, I would really rather have my exercise time be something I want to do…. you know I CAN NOT just ride a bike…. I mutlitask EVERYTHING except when driving. Well, that’s not entirely true either because we drill math facts, listen to books on tape, or other numerous things while driving….
