IT’S RAINING IT’S POURING

So, it’s not *really* pouring, but it IS raining and it has rained enough that thare are puddles on the ground. I’m pretty sure it should be snowing instead of raining. It’s only 30 degrees outside. We could REALLY use some snow! It would be nice to have a white Christmas. Otherwise, it’s just going to be brown and dreary looking outside. I decided to venture outside to get a few pictures of the rain drops on the trees. It’s warm enough to be rain, but cold enough that the drops aren’t frozen to the trees… they are VERY slowly dripping so I was able to catch a picture!

Oh and my whole country has been isolated under a blanket of fog for days. Heathrow is the busiest airport in the work and 1,000’s of flights have been cancelled.

Feel so sorry for the people stuck at the airport.

That’s what our landscape looked like two days ago! Guess you got it after us.

Love your music in the background. I may try and do something like that after Christmas, but no time now. Oh yeah, I am supposed to be getting ready to move after Christmas or so I have been told. Maybe after we move. I will have to get directions.

Cindy, I just caught up on your blog. I LOVED getting the wax imprint on the card you sent – what a fun thing to do. Also, I LOVE your scenic pictures. It looks like winter there- here we have been in the 80’s for 3 weeks. Finally today we only had highs in the low 60’s and lows tonight around 40. Too bad this happened after Christmas.

SUPER MOON

The Super Moon was shining so bright throughout the night last night. This morning the western sky was a beautiful rainbow of colors as the moon was disappearing over the horizon.

LET IT SNOW

Being in the road building business, one thing we don’t have to worry about is being snowed in. As long as the weather isn’t so cold that we can’t start the equipment, you’ll find our men out and about plowing everyone’s driveways up and down our road and a few …

EARLY MORNING VIEW

I love that the days are getting longer!   There was a beautiful view of the moon early this morning which reminded me of this song by Steven Curtis Chapman.   …”Early in the morning our song shall rise to thee…   Holy. Holy, holy…”
