WILLOW TREE FAMILY – DAY 3 of PROJECT 365

Ilove the Willow Tree figures. A few years ago after Nathan was born I saw 3 pieces that fit our family perfectly. A father and son that looked to be about Josh’s age at the time. A mom and baby. And, two girls sitting together talking. My mom, mil, and the girls each bought me a different piece including the Angel of the Heart that is overlooking the family. They sit on the hutch in our living room.

I’ve seen these figures here in the UK in shop windows. I like the carving and the simplicity, all except the fact that they have no faces.

Doesn’t that just freak you out? I guess not. It makes me kind of shudder though.LOL!
