While Emily was having her updo, I noticed a lady that looked like 2nd grade teacher…. MANY YEARS AGO now (LOL). I asked the receptionist the lady’s name. The first name was right, but not the last name. So, she went over to inquire if she had been a 2nd grade teacher and sure enough she had been and it was her. I went to say hello and she recognized me right away. We had a nice visit! She was one of my FAVORITE teachers! We moved the year I was in 2nd grade and I started a new school in January which is always rough. She was so kind and took me right under her wing! It was fun reconnecting with someone from many years ago.
