Josh has been helping his dad and grandpa all summer.  Today he greased all the equipment for them!  With all the grease that ended up on his clothes, we had to wonder (and tease him) if any grease ended up on the equipment.  Some clothes are just not meant to be washed in my washing machine.  Yea… I think I hear the garbage can beckoning these clothes!

Is Josh in 8th or 9th grade? It seems he's grown from a little boy to a young man in the past few months. LOL I've been noting a lot of boys around here doing that in the 8th/9th grade age.

It's amazing how they turn 13 and then they are all of a sudden GROWN UP! He will be entering 8th grade this fall.

It's so nice to see our children handling more responsibilities with helping parents/grandparents!

I've often wished we had 2 sets of washing machines/dryers here. One for the junky work clothes, and one for the "go to town" clothes:)

DH was upset with me when I told him I would not wash one of his favorite junky shirts. I think it had kerosene on it:( Besides, wouldn't it be dangerous to launder kerosene???

When we finish the shop out back, dh plans to put a washer/dryer out there for the "work" clothes! I can't wait!
