On 6-18-2010, my friend, Rhonda, and I went for our annual home decor shopping trip to one of the local stores which has a spring sale every June. 

Last year when we were shopping at this store, I spotted the above vase which I knew would fit this corner perfectly!  However, I didn’t purchase it then because being new merchandise at that time it wasn’t on sale.  All of my local friends know that I rarely buy anything unless it’s on sale.  Most of the time I’m fairly patient (especially when it comes to spending any $$) and in this case waiting a year definitely paid off because it was 40% off when we shopped on Friday.

The other thing my local friends know is that it usually takes me FOREVER to decide anything (LOL)!  In fact, I would probably have waited another year hoping to get it for 75% or 80% off next year if Emily, my personal home decorator, hadn’t convinced me I really should get it now since we’d already been thinking about it for a YEAR!  Anyway, the extra day of indecision paid off a little more because by the time I decided to purchase it on Saturday it was 50% off.
